The Côte Bleue, west of Marseille
Creeks, harbours and beaches between Marseille and Martigues
The Côte Bleue stretches west of Marseille toward Carry-le-Rouet, Sausset-les-Pins and Martigues. It is quieter than the main Calanques between Marseille and Cassis, with limestone coves, harbours, beaches and open views over the Bay of Marseille.
Niolon, Méjean, Érevine, Carry-le-Rouet, Sausset-les-Pins, La Couronne, Sainte-Croix and Carro each offer a different mood: small harbours, swimming spots, coastal paths, white rocks, pine woods and villages facing the sea.
